Volunteer: Sewing/Crafting and Conversation VolunteerDuring Thursday afternoons, 1-2:30PM, volunteers will help seniors practice English as they learn to sew and/or craft. Sewing experience at all levels of ability needed. Patience and being open to learning about different cultures and diverse communities are the most important skills volunteers must possess. We ask that volunteers commit to a regular schedule. This is not a one-time opportunity. Training and orientation provided prior to first volunteer shift. All volunteers undergo a background check.
