Who We Are
For over a century, Catholic Charities Boston has helped vulnerable individuals and families of all faiths and backgrounds. One of the most comprehensive non-profit providers of social services in Massachusetts, we offer over 70 programs across more than 20 locations throughout Greater Boston, with 450 employees serving thousands of individuals and families annually within the four core areas of Basic Needs, Family & Youth Services, Refugee & Immigrant Services, and Adult Education & Workforce Development.
Rooted in our faith mission, we address critical social justice issues with compassion and aim to break the cycles of poverty in our communities.
What We Do
Please note: We do require individual volunteers (those not with a group) to be CORIed. Please do the following:
- Complete this CORI form and email it to Holly Clark at holly_clark@ccab.org, along with a photo or photocopy of a government-issued photo ID
- OR, bring these items to the pantry for your first shift.
- A pantry staff person will check your ID in-person at your first shift regardless, so please bring it then.
In 2024, CCAB distributed more than 2.6 million meals to more than 11,000 households. We partner with the Greater Boston Food Bank, food rescue organizations, and more than a dozen community groups and organizations that provide a regular supply of food, toiletries, and other items to support this work. Last year alone, 61,376 people received food assistance through one of Catholic Charities’ four food pantries, including this one, our Brockton Food Pantry.
