Events & Other Programs – Various Locations

Who We Are

For over a century, Catholic Charities Boston has helped vulnerable individuals and families of all faiths and backgrounds. One of the most comprehensive non-profit providers of social services in Massachusetts, we offer over 70 programs across more than 20 locations throughout Greater Boston, with 450 employees serving thousands of individuals and families annually within the four core areas of Basic Needs, Family & Youth Services, Refugee & Immigrant Services, and Adult Education & Workforce Development.

Rooted in our faith mission, we address critical social justice issues with compassion and aim to break the cycles of poverty in our communities

What We Do

Occasionally, Catholic Charities Boston offers volunteer opportunities outside of our regular programs and services. These may include special events, seasonal initiatives, community projects, and other one-time opportunities that support our mission and the individuals and families we serve. Volunteers help extend our impact by providing support where it is needed most.

Depending on the opportunity, if volunteers are client-facing a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) background check is required. The form can be completed in person on your first day of service. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID to verify your identity and complete the process.

All volunteers regardless of opportunity are required to complete the volunteer waiver and review the volunteer policies prior to serving.
